Tracey Ebbs

As an artist, Tracey Ebbs strives to create unique and imaginative art pieces every day.

Tracey is a relative newcomer to the art scene. Having been told at school that, despite her enthusiasm, she had no artistic talent. She therefore didn’t pick up a paintbrush for over forty years until late 2022 when her mother asked her to accompany her to a beginner’s watercolours class. There she discovered that her teacher hadn’t been entirely truthful all those years ago, there was actually a spark there after all! Since then Tracey has thrown herself in to her new hobby with enthusiasm.

Her work reflects her passion for all wildlife. She loves realism and bright colours and has started combining pen work with her paints, as she loves the additional detail and textures she can achieve. She has also recently introduced a more illustrative, fun series of painting that have been very well received.

Tracey lives in rural North Bucks and her work has been widely exhibited across Bucks, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire. She is delighted to be participating in Thames Art Crawl again and was thrilled to be voted in the top 3 most popular artists in her first entry last year.

Tracey’s work will be displayed at Petcare – 15 Cornmarket, Thame OX9 2BL from 11-19 October.
