Tracey Ebbs

Tracey Ebbs

Tracey Ebbs is a newcomer to the art world, having taken up watercolours in late 2022. She was told by a school teacher that, in spite of her enthusiasm, she had no artistic talent. She believed this until 40 years later when she accompanied her mother on a beginner’s course. That ignited a spark and, since then, she has thrown herself into her new hobby and has gone from strength to strength.

Tracey’s work reflects her passion for all wildlife, especially that of the UK and South Africa where she has lived and worked. She loves realism and has recently started working with pen and wash as she loves the intricate details and texture you can achieve with this medium.

Tracey was forced to give up her corporate career due to health reasons and so immersing herself in to her artistic endeavours has been very beneficial to her general wellbeing and mental health.

She has exhibited at Bedford MS Centre, Longwick Art Show and Buckingham Art For All.

Tracey’s work will be displayed at Petcare – 15 Cornmarket, Thame from 15-19 October.
