As an artist, Lauretta Milligan strives to create unique and imaginative art pieces every day.
Lauretta was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and has lived with her family in England since 1999, after living in Hong Kong for ten years. After starting to paint in watercolours in Hong Kong, she continue to experiment and paint in this exciting medium. Lauretta successfully completed the City and Guilds Watercolours Diploma course at Missenden Abbey. She now paints with the Studley Green Art Group on a weekly basis. She also enjoys experimenting in mixed media, specifically acrylics, collage and pastel. Lauretta likes painting in vibrant colours with topics such as flowers, landscapes and animals with lots of patterns and textures. She has exhibited and sold work locally at various art shows, and has participated in the Bucks Art Weeks in the past.
Lauretta’s work will be displayed at White Stuff – 113 High Street, Thame OX9 3DZ from 11-19 October.
