You could call Janet Dunkley the Rambling Painter or the Painting Rambler. Most of her paintings are inspired by walks around the countryside, especially this year during lockdown. She has been painting to some extent, all her life, but much more since she retired. She has been exhibiting during Oxfordshire Artweeks for eight years now. Several years in Chalgrove, last year in Headington, Oxford and this year on line in conjunction with Artweeks.
Janet paints mainly in watercolour and has been inspired by the changing seasons, often taking photos then painting the scenes that she sees. Lately she has started to experiment with acrylic paints.
