Working mainly in oils, she reimagines classic portraits by placing retro sweets into the hands of her sitters — from sherbet fountains to love hearts — creating a joyful collision of nostalgia and fine art. These unexpected details invite the viewer to pause, smile, and remember the simple pleasures of childhood.

Alongside her signature portraits, Flick takes on bespoke commissions, working closely with clients to create unique and personal pieces. Her pet portraits, crafted in a mix of pencil, pastel, and copper leaf, are rich in texture and personality, capturing each animal’s character while adding a warm, luminous glow.
