Christine Jones has been drawing since she was about 8 and has never really stopped. She loved art at school and her art teacher at the time was so inspirational. She loves loose artwork and is mostly inspired by ‘the world around us’, and particularly flowers. She trained as a Furniture Designer/Maker at the London College of Furniture and a the age of 40 she teacher- trained and taught Design & Technology at Thornton College and the Sir Henry Floyd. When she retired, she sailed and painted around the Mediterranean with her late husband, in their 27′ yacht ‘Cariad’ for 15 years. Christine has a small studio area in her home and keeps her work where she can see it and assess any changes needed – stopping at any time to add a bit of colour here and there.
