As an artist, Alan Kidd created unique and imaginative art pieces every day.
Alan’s prime objectives were to push the bounds of the media to produce personalised, random, accidental, and considered mark-making using line, texture, light and colour. He produced clean, contemporary work, whilst retaining a traditional and naturalistic feel. He also enjoyed working in clay to produce figures and portrait heads from life. Alan’s work has been shown at Patchi.
Sadly, Alan died in December last year. His family hope to have the opportunity to show his work to those attending the Art Crawl.
Alan’s work will be displayed at Greens of Thame – 4 Upper High Street, Thame OX9 3ES from 11-19 October.
